Esta señal pertenece a la categoría preventivas.
Se utiliza para indicar las curvas a la derecha o a la izquierda, cuando el producto del grado de curvatura por la deflexión sea menor de 900.
No se deben señalar aquellas curvas que tengan una deflexión menor de 15° o un grado de curvatura menor de 2°.
El pictograma debe indicar si la curva es a la derecha o a la izquierda.
