Esta señal se utiliza en reemplazo de las señales TRÁNSITO EN UN SENTIDO o TRÁNSITO EN AMBOS SENTIDOS, e indica la existencia de una vía donde sólo se autoriza la circulación peatonal.
Se debe complementar con la señal NOMBRE Y NUMERACIÓN DE CALLE.
