Esta señal pertenece a la categoría reglamentarias.
Esta señal se usa en las denominadas Zonas de Tránsito Calmado, en este caso, una Zona 30 Km/h, para restringir, la velocidad máxima a 30 Km/h. Análogamente, las señales pueden contener el texto ZONA 20 o ZONA 40 cuando la velocidad esté restringida a estos límites.
Alternativamente, la leyenda “ZONA” puede ubicarse bajo el círculo que contiene la velocidad máxima permitida.
