Esta señal se empleará para advertir al conductor, en forma anticipada, de la presencia de una señal reglamentaria Pare, la cual no le es visible desde una distancia suficiente como para permitirle disminuir la velocidad sin apuros.
Deberá utilizarse principalmente en vías suburbanas y rurales donde no es común encontrar una intersección regulada por señal de Pare.
