Esta señal se instala al final de una sección de vía con parterre, para dirigir al tráfico vehicular al carril correcto, esta señal debe ser colocada a por lo menos 3,00 m del filo donde termina el parterre.
También, se instala en intersecciones donde una calle de UNA VÍA se convierta en calle de DOBLE VÍA.
